About me
Welcome to my website, thanks for stopping by!
My curiosity and perserverance drives me to learn, seek, and solve difficult problems with real-world impact, particularly in the domain of climate and environmental science.
Outside of work, I enjoy learning about esoteric and niche topics online, reading about digital and privacy rights, repairing teawares with kintsugi, and listening to new music from artists across a multitude of genres.

Work Experience
BeZero Carbon Ltd.
2024 – 2026
Ratings Analyst – Technology-based Solutions team
BeZero Carbon offers independent project-level assessments and continuous monitoring of carbon projects across the globe to help investors and buyers make better climate decisions. My role is to assess the likelihood that carbon credits issued by a given project have achieved their emissions offsetting claims; are those claimed emissions reductions real or not?
Contributions:
- Rated 16 offsetting projects across Renewable Energy, Industrial and Waste sectors, equating to a total of over +15 MtCO₂e assessed and +900 unique views on the BeZero Carbon platform.
- High-profile (>100 unique platform views) assessments that I've conducted include: a large-scale leak detection and repair programme from a national natural gas pipeline network in Uzbekistan, and ultra high-GWP HFC system substitution projects in the USA.
- Built a highly maintainable dashboard for improved automated project monitoring and flagging using SQL on Metabase, wrote detailed documentation, and developed internal tools for Waste sector carbon accounting.

Research Assistant
Analysed the spatial distribution of hard-to-abate industrial point sources, their associated emissions, and identified a significant number of industrial sites located far away from planned industrial clusters.
Published a report on the state of knowledge (circa. 2024) of onshore geological carbon storage (GCS) in the UK. This work highlights potential operational barriers faced by industrial sites in sectors that rely heavily on carbon capture and storage to decarbonise (i.e., cement industry) that are located more in-land. A use-case for onshore GCS is presented herein, as the CO₂ transport distance from industrial point source to geological sink could be reduced. However, significant research gaps are present with regards to how much CO₂ could be stored onshore, and where storage could occur safely and with sufficient capacity.

Msc Environmental Change and Management – Merit
- An intense interdisciplinary programme integrating physical and social sciences where I learned about issues in the intersection of society and the environment, and practical skills to apply theory into the real world.
- Thesis: ”Assessing the United Kingdom's Industrial Decarbonisation Strategy in the context of CCS deployment and the geographies of dispersed industrial point-source emitters” supervised by Dr. Tom Kettlety and Prof. Myles Allen.
University College London
